The office is up on the 5th floor of the Akashdeep Building, which is right on Barakhamba Road at 26 A. If you know Delhi, you know how busy this area gets during the week. Dcm Hyundai has been here for a good amount of time now. It’s a typical office setup, really. We have desks, computers, and a lot of paperwork to get through every single day. Being in such a central location means there is always something happening outside the windows, though we mostly just focus on what’s on our screens. The elevators in this building can be a bit slow in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work at the same time. We handle various things related to the cars, mostly the administrative side of things and talking to people on the phone. It isn't a flashy car lot where you see the vehicles lined up; it's more of the back-end stuff that keeps things running. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the city noise, but you stop noticing it after an hour or so. We usually take our lunch breaks nearby or just eat at our desks if it’s one of those busy Tuesdays. It’s a steady job in a busy part of the city. We don't really do anything fancy here, just the daily tasks that need doing to keep the business side of the cars moving along.
