We are located in Raja Bhawan on Old Rangpuri Road. It’s right near the small red light in Mahipalpur. If you’ve ever been through this part of Delhi, you know how the traffic can be. We are right in the middle of all that noise. We do a lot of work with contact lenses and glasses. People drop in because they lost a lens or their glasses got stepped on and bent out of shape. We have tools for all the small repairs on the workbench. The shop isn't fancy at all. It's got basic counters and some stools for people to sit on. We spend time explaining how to clean the lenses so they don't get ruined or scratched. Mahipalpur is a busy area with a lot of travelers because of the airport being so close, but we mostly see the local residents who live in the lanes nearby. We've been here for a while and the building, Raja Bhawan, is well known to the people here. The red light nearby is a good landmark for people who are trying to find us for the first time. We open up early and close once the street gets quiet at night. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside the shop, so we are always wiping the glass down. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a local shop where we work. We try to be helpful and give people options that fit their budget. It’s honest work and we enjoy seeing the different faces every day.
