A K Marble Industries

A K Marble Industries is located in Dariya Ganj, specifically at Gali No 690 in Chandni Mahel. It is a narrow street, like many in this part of the city, and it is always full of life. We work with marble, so our place is usually covered in a bit of white dust. It is hard work, moving the heavy slabs and cutting them down to size, but we have been doing it for a long time. The sound of the saws is a constant background noise here. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have stacks of stone leaned against the walls and a few benches where we do the finishing work. Dariya Ganj is a place where people come to find specific things, and they find us by navigating the galis. We don't do much in the way of advertising; the quality of the stone usually speaks for itself. We are just a group of workers who know our trade. Most of our day is spent measuring, cutting, and polishing. It’s physical work that leaves you tired at the end of the day, but it feels good to see a finished piece of marble ready to go. We like the history of Chandni Mahel and being part of the old city. It’s a crowded spot, but it’s where we belong. We just keep our tools sharp and our eyes on the work. There is a lot of sweat involved.
