We are over at F-205 in Madipur Colony. Most people who live around here know where we are located. Crossroad Logistics Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this small office for quite some time now. It’s not a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we keep our logs and answer the phones all day. Running a logistics business in New Delhi is mostly about dealing with the traffic and the heat. We spend a lot of our time talking to drivers and making sure the paperwork is sorted out before anything leaves the city. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the power goes out for a while, but we just keep going. It’s a lot of manual tracking even though we have computers on every desk. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. It’s just us, sitting at our desks, making sure boxes get from one place to another. The office can get a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once. We usually have a kettle going for tea because the days can get pretty long, especially when there are delays on the road. We don't promise anything impossible to our customers. If a shipment is going to be late because of rain or a strike, we just tell it like it is. It’s a simple operation here in Madipur. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to get home on time.
