Working at Vandhana Building on Tolstoy Marg is quite something because the location is so central. We are right there at number 11, and if you know this part of town, you know the parking is always a bit of a headache for everyone. The office stays busy with all the stuff involving electricals and appliances. It’s an older building, so it has that specific smell of old paper and stone hallways. Some of the desks have been here forever, and we just keep them tidy enough to work. We spend the morning answering emails and sorting out orders for fans or whatever else is coming through the system. During lunch, most of us walk out to the nearby stalls or just sit in the break area complaining about the humidity. It’s a lot of coordination between the different departments. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a big shipment is expected, but we manage. You can hear the city noise from the windows if they aren't shut tight against the Delhi heat. It’s just a standard office life where we keep track of inventory and make sure the accounts are right. No one wears suits unless there’s a big meeting, so it’s mostly just casual shirts and people drinking tea while staring at spreadsheets. We’ve been here at this Marg for quite a long time now, so the routine feels very familiar to all of us.
