You can find Creative Automotive Services right in the middle of the Bara Bazar area. Our address is Shop No.1065/8 in Kashmere Gate. It is very close to the Kashmere Gate Metro Station, so it’s easy to get here even if the traffic is bad. And the traffic is usually bad in this part of Delhi. The shop is small but we pack a lot into it. Kashmere Gate is famous for auto parts and repairs, so there is a lot of competition. We just focus on our own work. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the tools and parts laying around. We spend our days dealing with engines and electrical stuff. It gets pretty loud with all the horns honking outside. People walk in and out all day long. Some are just looking for a price and others need help right away. We don’t have a polished front office. It is just a counter and some shelves. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The walls have seen a lot of grease. We aren’t trying to be the biggest shop in Bara Bazar. We just want to finish the work that is in front of us. It is a busy life but we are used to the pace. Most days we are working right up until the shutters go down. That is just how it is here.
