Country Inn

This inn is located in the 110016 area of New Delhi. It is a regular building where we spend our time managing the rooms and helping people who arrive. The lobby isn't very big, but we have a desk where someone is always sitting. We spend a lot of our time checking people in and taking their bags up. The rooms need a lot of looking after, so we are constantly checking the lights and the plumbing. It is a busy job because people are always coming and going at odd hours. We have a small kitchen area where we get the morning tea and toast ready. The street outside can be quite noisy with cars honking, but we try to keep the rooms as quiet as possible. We aren't a big chain with hundreds of employees; we are just a small crew that knows the building well. Sometimes the air conditioner needs a bit of a kick to get started, and the paint in the hallways is starting to show some age. We just focus on making sure the beds are made and the bathrooms are clean. It is simple work, but it keeps us on our feet all day long. We have some regular guests who have been coming here for years, and we know exactly which room they like. It’s just a normal place to stay and we try to keep things running right.
