You can find Surendra Co. right at M- 54 Connaught Circus. We are directly opposite the Haldiram, which makes it easy for people to find us when they’re walking around. Connaught Circus is always crowded and noisy, but we like being in the middle of it all. It’s an old building, and sometimes the stairs feel a bit steep after a long day. We’ve been operating from this spot for years. The shop isn't very big, and we have boxes stacked up in the corners because space is tight. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We see all kinds of people coming through the doors. Some are regulars who have been coming to Surendra Co. since they were young, and others just stumble in because they’re in the area. We don’t do much advertising; word of mouth usually keeps us going. The desk is usually messy with papers and tea cups, but we know where everything is. Being across from Haldiram is a bit of a distraction because the smell of food is always there. It’s a simple setup. We open up in the morning, deal with whatever comes our way, and close up when the sun goes down. There isn't any big corporate strategy here. We just try to be helpful to anyone who walks in. It’s a lived-in space that feels like home to us.
