Citelum India is located over in Defence Colony, specifically at E-2 on the first floor. It is a nice enough neighborhood, fairly quiet compared to the main roads. You have to walk up the stairs to get to us. The office is usually full of maps and lighting plans scattered across the tables. We spend a lot of time looking at city layouts and how to get the street lights working better. It isn't just about bulbs; it’s about a lot of wires and timing. Our staff is a mix of people who have been here forever and a few newer faces. We have a small balcony where people go to take a break or take a call. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but the air conditioning usually keeps up. Being on the first floor means we can see what’s going on in the street, which is mostly just neighbors walking their dogs or cars passing by. We don't really have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will usually look up from their computer to say hello. It's a pretty straightforward place to work. We focus on getting the projects done and making sure the paperwork is filed correctly with the city offices. It’s steady work and we like being based in this part of town.
