Alok International New Delhi

Our office is at 3021/2 Chuna Mandi in the Paharganj area of New Delhi. If you’ve ever been to Paharganj, you know it’s one of the most crowded and energetic parts of the city. There are travelers, markets, and narrow lanes everywhere. Alok International is situated right in the thick of it. The building is an old one, like most things in Chuna Mandi. We use the space to coordinate our international business. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and dealing with logistics. The street noise outside is constant, with horns honking and people shouting, but we’ve learned to tune it out over the years. We have a small team here. We don’t have any fancy signs or corporate logos on the walls. It’s just a functional space with some computers, a few filing cabinets, and a lot of paper. Being in New Delhi means we are close to everything, which helps when we need to visit other offices or the customs house. Sometimes the stairs up to our floor feel a bit steep, especially at the end of a long day. We mostly deal with overseas clients, so the time zones can be a bit tricky. Sometimes we are here late to catch someone in a different part of the world. It’s just a regular office in a very busy part of town. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We just do our work and go home. Often we grab a quick snack from the street vendors downstairs when the workday gets too long.
