We’ve been here at Mahaveer Kunj for quite a while now. Deepak Gupta is the one who keeps things running at our spot on the upper ground floor in Khirki Extension. If you know Malviya Nagar, you know it gets busy, but we’re tucked away in J 1 / 123 A where we do our forging work. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a place where we get the job done. Sometimes the noise from the street is loud, but that’s just New Delhi for you. We deal with metal and heat every day. It’s hard work, but we are used to it. People come by asking for specific parts or just to see if we can fix something they have. We try to help out when we can. The space isn’t huge, but it fits what we need. We started out small and stayed that way mostly because we like knowing our neighbors. You can find us easily enough if you look for the sign near the ground floor entrance. It’s a simple setup. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing big meetings. Most of the day is spent with tools in our hands. That’s how we’ve always done it. It’s a local business through and through. Nothing more to say about it really, just that we are here working most days. We like the routine of it all.
