Mahalaxmi Fashion is over at M- 76 in Chanakya Place Part 2. We are situated right opposite Janak Puri, so there’s always a lot of activity across the road. Our shop is one of those places where you just walk in and start looking through the piles. We don't have everything perfectly organized by size or color because we're usually too busy with the customers or unpacking new arrivals. It’s a bit messy, to be honest, but that’s how we know we’re actually working. I usually open up around ten in the morning and stay until the last person leaves in the evening. The floor is a bit uneven in one corner, so you have to watch your step when you're looking at the racks. We’ve been in Chanakya Place for a few years and have seen the shops around us change quite a bit. We just stick to what we know, which is selling clothes that people can actually wear every day without thinking too much about it. There isn't a team of experts here, just me and a couple of helpers who know where most things are kept. We don’t have a big budget for fancy signs, so we just painted the name above the door ourselves. It’s a decent spot and we enjoy the daily routine of it all. Just a local shop trying to get by and keep the shelves full.
