Sahil Optical

Sahil Optical is tucked away in Kucha Rehman Wali Gali, right in the heart of Chandni Chowk. If you know the area, you know how crowded and loud it can be. Our shop is small, but we pack a lot into it. We spend our days looking at frames and lenses, making sure everything is aligned properly. It’s a lot of close-up work that can be hard on the eyes after a few hours. The street outside is always full of people and rickshaws, so it’s never quiet here. We’ve been in Chandni Chowk for a long time, and we’ve seen shops come and go. We just keep doing what we’ve always done. There’s no corporate office or fancy uniforms. Usually, it's just a couple of us behind the counter, helping whoever walks in. We have tools for adjustments that have probably been here as long as the shop itself. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people come in at once, but we make it work. We don't do much advertising. People mostly find us because they were walking by or a friend told them where we were. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it suits us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use flashlights, but that’s just life in this part of town. We’re just here to provide glasses to anyone who needs them, nothing more.
