This part of New Delhi is always full of trucks and activity. We fit right in. Our office is a functional place where we manage the flow of goods coming in and out. We aren't into the whole modern office trend with bean bags or ping pong tables. We have chairs, tables, and computers. We spend our time talking to warehouse managers and trying to make sure the routes are efficient. The road outside is usually pretty busy, so there is always noise from the traffic, but we’re used to it. We have a small crew here. Most of us have been working in logistics for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and the common pitfalls of the industry. We don't try to sound like a giant corporation even though we handle a lot of work. We just speak like normal people. If there’s a delay at the port, we let people know. We don’t hide behind corporate emails. It’s a real job with real people, and we just try to do our best by the folks who hire us. That’s how we’ve always done it here on Bakarwala Marg. We keep things simple and try to stay organized every day.
