Cargo Talk

You can find us at 72 Todarmal Road. It’s a relatively quiet street compared to some of the main hubs, which is nice for us. Cargo Talk isn't a huge corporation. It’s more of a place where we sit down and figure out how to talk about the shipping industry. We write stuff, we talk to people in the business, and we try to keep up with what’s going on. The office is a bit cluttered with papers and old magazines. We probably should clean it more often, but there's always something else to do. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone telling us what to say. We just write what we see. Sometimes we get things wrong, but we try to be fair about it. Being on Todarmal Road gives us a good home base. We've been here long enough that the tea stall guy knows exactly what we want. It’s a simple setup. A few desks, some computers, and a lot of coffee. We don't try to sound like experts who know everything. We’re just learning along with everyone else in this field. It’s interesting to see how things move around the country. Every day brings a new story or a new problem to look into. We just enjoy being part of the conversation. It’s steady work and it keeps us engaged with the world. We don't need anything more than that.
