Our office is tucked away at H-6 in Sector-14, Gurgaon. It’s a central enough spot, and we have been based here for a good amount of time. Working for Cargill Global Trading means we spend a lot of our day looking at screens and talking to people in different time zones. It sounds more exciting than it actually is. Most of the time, it’s just us sitting at our desks, drinking tea, and making sure the trading paperwork is all in order. Sector-14 has a lot of energy, and there are always people moving about outside. We don’t have a big reception area or any of those flashy corporate mission statements on the walls. It’s just a practical workspace where we focus on the numbers and the logistics of trading goods. Sometimes the markets are quiet, and we can catch our breath, but other times it’s completely non-stop. We don't try to sound more important than we are. We are just a local team handling the Indian side of things. If a shipment gets delayed at a port somewhere, we are the ones who have to figure out the next steps. It’s a lot of problem-solving. We try to keep things simple and avoid all that complicated business talk you hear in the bigger towers. We just do our work, chat with the neighbors, and head home when the day is done. The building is a bit older, but it serves us well for what we need.
