Carborundum Universal Ltd.

Our office is over in Okhla Vihar, right in the Jamia Nagar area of New Delhi. We are at B11-12/1. It’s a crowded part of the city, and there’s always something going on outside our windows. We operate as Carborundum Universal Ltd. around here. The building isn't new, but it's where we get everything done. We have a lot of boxes and files stacked up because we are always busy. It’s not the kind of place you see in a magazine. It’s a real office where people drink too much tea and talk about the work that needs finishing. We don't have a PR person. We just have ourselves. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we know the local tea stalls and the best places for lunch. We deal with customers and suppliers all day long. Some days are more stressful than others, but we manage to get through. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and the deliveries happen on time. It's basic work. We’ve been at this address for a while and the locals know us. We just keep our heads down and stay focused on the tasks we have in front of us. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just wait it out or find something else to do. That is just how it is in this neighborhood. We don't let it bother us.
