Budhha Tourism

Running a travel business in New Delhi is always an experience, to say the least. We’re right in the thick of things here, and there’s never really a quiet moment. Budhha Tourism is basically us sitting in our office, surrounded by maps and itineraries, trying to help folks figure out where they want to go next. New Delhi is a huge place, and it can be pretty overwhelming with all the noise and the constant heat, but we’ve lived here long enough that we don't really mind it anymore. We started this because we liked the idea of helping people see new places, but most of our time is actually spent on the phone or typing away at the computer. It’s a lot of logistical work, making sure dates line up and transport is sorted out. We don’t have a flashy office with fancy furniture; it’s more of a functional space where we can actually focus. Our staff is a small group, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s filing papers or talking to a customer who’s a bit lost. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a trip isn't going to work out the way someone wants, we just tell them straight. There’s no point in making promises we can’t keep. It’s a busy life in the city, but we enjoy the pace and the different people we meet along the way. Anyway, that’s just us.
