Bright Auto Products

Bright Auto Products is located at 8 Nichalson Road, which is right in the middle of the Kashmere Gate area. If you’ve been around here, you know it’s one of the oldest and busiest parts of the city. The building we are in has seen a lot of years go by. The walls are thick and the ceilings are high, but the rooms are packed with shelves full of auto components. We’ve got stuff tucked into every available corner. It’s a bit of a struggle to keep the dust off everything because the windows look right out onto the street where the traffic never ends. We spend most of our time dealing with regular customers who have been coming to Nichalson Road for decades. It’s a lot of talking and checking part numbers. Sometimes we have to go down to the basement to find something older that someone is looking for. The light is a bit dim in the back, so we use torches to see the labels. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we do. We know the tea seller around the corner and the other shopkeepers nearby. There’s a sense of community here even though everyone is busy trying to finish their own work. We just keep the shop open and handle whatever comes through the door each day. The shutters go up at ten and stay up until it’s dark, and that is how it has been for years.
