B.P. Kalra & Co.

We are based at 20-A in Sarojini Nagar. It is more of an office and a place to keep our records than a fancy retail store. We have been around for a long time, and the building has some cracks in the plaster to show for it. We deal with various business matters, mostly handling the accounts and orders for our regular clients who have been with us for years. It is a relatively quiet street compared to the big main markets nearby, which we like. There is a large tree right outside our door that gives us some nice shade during the hottest parts of the year. Inside the office, it is mostly just some old desks, metal filing cabinets, and the sound of the ceiling fan clicking as it spins. We are not trying to be the biggest or most famous company out there. We just want to do our daily work properly and then go home to our families at night. Some of our customers have been coming to see us for decades, and they usually just walk right in without making any kind of appointment. We keep a small table with the morning newspapers and some cold water for anyone who drops by to visit. It is a very local way of doing things. We do not use much modern technology, as we still prefer using paper and pens for most of our notes.
