Bobby Store & Confectionery

We are located at shop number 20 in Meharchand Market, right off Lodhi Road. It’s a nice area, though it has changed a lot since we first opened the doors. I’m usually behind the counter from the morning until we shut down at night. We sell all kinds of snacks, sweets, and the basic things people need for their kitchens. It’s a small space, so we have to be clever about where we put the bread and the biscuit packets. The regulars come in every day for their milk or eggs, and we usually have a quick chat about the weather or the news. It’s a bit of a neighborhood hub in that way. I try to keep the shelves stocked, but sometimes the delivery trucks are late and things get a bit empty for a day. We don't have fancy lights or big displays. It’s just a normal store where you can grab what you need. My son helps out on the weekends when he’s not busy with his own things. The floor is old tiles that have seen a lot of feet over the years. It’s a bit noisy when the school nearby lets out and all the kids come in for candies. It’s a steady kind of life. We aren't trying to be anything more than a local shop where you can get your daily supplies without any fuss. It’s just us, the snacks, and the people of Lodhi Road who stop by every morning to get their bread.
