We are based out of a Dda Flat in Kalkaji. It might seem a bit unusual to run a power business from a residential block, but it works for us. We handle stuff like batteries, inverters, and anything to do with keeping the lights on when the grid goes down. Kalkaji is a crowded area, so being right here helps us get to people quickly when they have an emergency. The flat is mostly filled with equipment and some tools we need for our daily rounds. It’s a bit cramped with all the heavy units sitting on the floor, but we know where everything is. Usually, one of us is out on a call while someone else stays back to manage the phone. The neighbors are used to us moving things in and out. It’s a practical setup for a local business. We don't spend much on decorating the place because it’s a workspace first. You can hear the sounds of the colony outside—kids playing or people calling out to vendors. We started here because it was convenient and we just stayed. There is no big marketing team or anything, just us doing the electrical work that needs doing. Sometimes we are working late into the evening when there's a power issue in the neighborhood. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy throughout the seasons. The Dda flats have a certain look that everyone in Delhi knows.
