Bhanot Clinic

Bhanot Clinic is over at Shop No 94 in Meherchand Market. This is right on Lodhi Road in Delhi, 110003. If you are near the IHC, you are basically right there. Meherchand Market has a specific feel to it, a bit different from the bigger malls. It’s a long strip of shops and we are just one of the units there. The shop isn’t very big, so things can get a bit cramped when there are more than three or four people waiting. We have a desk and some chairs and the medical supplies we need. Being near the India Habitat Centre means there are always people around, both locals and visitors. The parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes on Lodhi Road, but that is just Delhi for you. We see a lot of people who work in the nearby offices or live in the government quarters around here. The clinic has been part of this market for a while. It’s a simple setup. No big flashing lights or anything, just a sign with the name. We open up in the morning, clean the floors, and wait for the first patients to arrive. It’s a quiet routine most days, though some afternoons get quite hectic. You can hear the sounds of the market and the cars outside while we work. It’s just a normal clinic in a very well-known part of the city. We just stay here and do the work. The market has changed over the years, but we are still here in the same spot.
