Bhagat & Company is right in the heart of the city at 42 Municipal Market, just across from the York Hotel in Connaught Circus. If you’ve ever been to this area, you know it’s always buzzing with tourists, shoppers, and people rushing to the metro. Our shop is one of many in the market, and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside. We have shelves stacked high with all sorts of things, and sometimes you have to move a stool just to get to the back of the room. We’ve been here for decades, and we’ve seen the market change quite a bit over the years. We aren't a big chain store with matching uniforms. We’re just a local business where the owners are usually the ones behind the counter. It’s a noisy spot with all the traffic outside, but we like being where the action is. We don't have a glossy catalogue or a big marketing budget. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for a long time or folks who just happened to walk by. We try to keep things simple and honest. Sometimes the power in the market flickers, or it gets a bit crowded on the weekends, but that’s just part of being in Connaught Circus. We don't make any grand promises. We just provide what we have and try to be helpful to anyone who walks in for help.
