We've been at Chabi Ganj for a good while now. The shop is at number 7 in the Prakashwati motor Market, right in the middle of Kashmere Gate. It's a busy spot, usually lots of noise and people moving around. We deal with auto parts mostly. Sometimes the morning starts slow, then suddenly everyone needs something at once. That's just how the market works here. We keep a lot of stock on the shelves because you never know what someone will walk in asking for. It gets dusty, but that’s part of being in an old motor market. Most of our regulars know where to find us. We don’t have a fancy office or anything. Just a counter, some stools, and lots of spare parts piled up. If you're coming down Hamilton Road or through the main gate, it's a bit of a squeeze with the traffic. We open early most days. The guys here have been working with these parts for years, so they know what fits what. It isn't always organized perfectly, but we find what’s needed. Dealing with cars and trucks keeps us on our toes. Sometimes a delivery is late or the weather makes things difficult, but we just carry on. It’s a straightforward life here at Beekay Automotives. We just try to get the orders right and keep things moving. There’s always tea being passed around and someone talking about a repair job. It’s what we do every day.
