You can find us at 507 Ashok Bhawan in Nehru Place. If you know Delhi, you know Nehru Place is always a bit chaotic with people selling computers and electronics everywhere. Our office is tucked away in one of those big buildings. We’ve been publishing things here for quite some time. It’s a small space filled with books, old manuscripts, and stacks of paper that seem to grow every week. We aren't a big fancy publishing house with a lobby and a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and see someone working at a cluttered desk. We focus on getting our magazines or books out on schedule, which is harder than it sounds. There are always typos to catch or printing issues to fix at the last minute. The air conditioning in the building sometimes struggles during the peak of summer, but we keep the fans going. We have a small crew of editors and writers who just like to get their work done. We don’t spend money on big marketing campaigns. We just hope that the quality of what we print is enough to keep people reading. It’s a humble way to make a living, but we enjoy the process of putting words on a page and sending them out. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and we all just sit there in the dark waiting for the generator to kick in. It’s just part of being in this old building.
