Joll Exports

Out here in I- 248 Sector 5 Bawana Industrial Area, things move pretty fast. It is a big industrial zone so there is always a truck blocking the road or someone unloading something nearby. Joll Exports is tucked away in one of these blocks. We spend a lot of time checking boxes and making sure everything is packed right. It gets noisy with all the other units around us making their own sounds. The floor is concrete and we have a lot of space for the goods we handle. In Bawana, you don't really get a lot of quiet time. We show up, drink some tea, and then start going through the manifest for the day. It’s mostly about moving items from one point to another without any fuss. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and we don't bother painting them much because the work is what matters. We deal with exports, so we are always thinking about the next container or the next deadline. It’s not glamorous at all. Some days the power goes out and we just wait it out or work by the door where the light comes in. Sector 5 is a busy spot and we are just one part of that whole system. We keep the gate open when it’s cool. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. Just boxes, tape, and a lot of lifting.
