About Bal Gopal Auto Centre – Automobile in New Delhi
I've been at W-237 in the PVC Market for quite some time now. It’s right across from GH-12 in Nangloi. If you know this part of Paschim Vihar, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and people moving things around. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular place where we keep the inventory and deal with the day-to-day work. Some days are really quiet and we just sit around drinking tea, but then suddenly three people show up at once wanting something specific for their vehicle. We try to keep things organized but in a place like this, things tend to pile up. My desk is usually covered in receipts and old catalogs. It’s a bit dusty because of the road right outside, but that’s just how it is in this area. People come in from Nangloi or the nearby colonies looking for parts. We spend most of the morning unloading stuff and the afternoons are for sorting out what goes where. I’ve known the guys in the neighboring shops for years, and we all pretty much do the same thing. It’s not a glamorous job, just honest work in a crowded market. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just wait it out. You get used to the noise of the traffic and the shouting of the loaders. It's just a regular auto centre doing what we can to keep things moving.
