We are located up on the seventh floor of the Mohan Dev Tower. If you know Tolstoy Marg, you know it’s a busy part of town with a lot of traffic and people moving around. Our office at 703 is where we handle a lot of the technical side of things for the gauges. Measuring things might sound boring to some people, but it’s what we do every single day. We deal with tools that need to be exact. If a measurement is off by even a tiny bit, it messes up everything for the customer. Most of our day is spent looking at specs or talking on the phone to explain how a certain gauge works. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the paperwork and samples lying around. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just desks, computers, and a lot of technical manuals. People come in and out, usually in a hurry because they need a tool replaced or checked. We try to help them out as quickly as we can without rushing the important parts. The view from the tower is okay, but we’re usually too busy with the work to look out the window much. It’s just a group of us trying to keep things organized and making sure the orders go out to the right places. It’s steady work and it keeps us occupied. There is always something that needs measuring or a tool that needs explaining to someone new.
