You can find BABY-CARE MARKETING CO. at 53-A/11 on Rama Road. We are directly across from A-One Motors and the Tata showroom, so there’s always the sound of engines and people looking at cars right outside our windows. Inside, it’s a bit different. We handle all sorts of baby products, so there are boxes of diapers, wipes, and toys stacked up in the corners. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when a big shipment arrives and we haven't cleared the old stock yet. The team here is mostly just a few local folks who know the neighborhood well. We spend a lot of time on the phone with shops and making sure the delivery vans are loaded up right. It isn't the most glamorous job, but we enjoy the pace of it. Moti Nagar is a busy area to work in, and there’s always something happening on Rama Road. We don't have any fancy mission statements hanging on the walls. We just have a big calendar with all the delivery dates marked in red ink. Lunch is usually a quick affair at our desks or a sandwich from the stall down the street. We’ve been here for quite some time now and the place feels like a second home to most of us. It’s a practical, straightforward business and we like keeping it that way without any extra fluff or noise. We just do the work and go home.
