B. N. MEHRA & CO. is based over in Naraina Vihar, specifically at the Imperial Tower in the Community Centre. We are up on the 6th floor, in units 613 and 614 of the C Block. It’s a decent spot, though finding parking in the Community Centre can be a real headache some mornings. We’ve been operating from here for quite a bit. The office has that old-school feel to it, lots of wooden desks and stacks of ledgers. We do our work, talk to our regulars, and try to stay on top of the taxes and paperwork that comes with running a firm like this. It’s mostly quiet, except for when the phones start ringing all at once. We don’t really go in for those modern open-office layouts. Everyone has their own space and we like it that way. Sometimes we share a pot of tea and talk about how the area has changed since the metro came through. Naraina is a busy industrial and commercial hub, so there is always something going on outside. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. There’s no marketing team here or anyone to write fancy speeches. It’s just us. We’ve got a few people who have worked here for twenty years. That says something about the place, I think. We are just a local business trying to do right by the people who walk through our door and keep things moving forward steadily.
