Astha Gynae Clinic

Our clinic is located right inside the Cantonment Residential Area. It’s a much quieter part of town compared to the main markets, which is something I personally appreciate. Working here involves a lot of routine stuff. We handle gynecology cases, mostly for the families who live nearby in the quarters. The building we’re in is older, but it serves its purpose well enough. I spend my days answering the phone and writing down appointments in a big paper ledger we’ve had for ages. We don't use many high-tech gadgets for the office work; we prefer keeping it simple. The waiting room has about six or seven chairs, and they’ve seen better days, but they’re comfortable enough for a short wait. Sometimes the doctor is running late because of traffic, and I have to chat with the patients to keep them from getting restless. We see a lot of expecting mothers who just want a local place where they don’t have to travel too far. The air inside always smells a bit like antiseptic, which you’d expect. Being in the Cantonment area means there’s a lot of greenery around, which makes the walk to the clinic quite pleasant in the mornings. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a small team of us doing our jobs and helping out the women in this community as best as we can every day.
