Our place is over at E-100 in Janakpuri, out in the Sahibabad area near Ghaziabad. If you know this part of town, you know it’s very industrial. There are trucks everywhere and the roads are always a bit bumpy. We’ve been operating from this spot for a good while. The office gets a bit dusty because of all the construction and traffic nearby, so we’re always dusting off the monitors. We deal with road carriers, so our life revolves around drivers and transit times. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time talking to people on the loading docks and making sure the manifests are actually correct. Sometimes a truck breaks down and we have to spend the whole evening figuring out a backup plan. That’s just how it goes in this business. We have a small team here and we’ve all been working together for years. We don't have any corporate manuals or fancy training. We just learned by doing it. Usually, there’s a pile of empty chai cups on the side table by the end of the day. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get through the day's list without any major disasters. It’s noisy and busy, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and make sure the cargo keeps moving along the roads.
