We've been based here on Western Avenue for a good while now, right near the Khanpur Depot. It’s a busy spot in Sainik Farms. Most days it’s just us dealing with the various bits of navigation gear that come through. It gets a bit dusty around here with all the traffic passing by the depot, but we manage. We aren't a big operation, just a handful of us making sure everything is sorted properly. Sometimes the deliveries are late because the trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes, which is always a bit of a headache. The office isn't anything fancy, just a couple of desks and some shelves full of equipment. My nephew helps out on the weekends sometimes when things get backed up. We usually have tea around four in the afternoon when the sun starts to go down behind the trees. It's a decent place to work. We know most of the people on this stretch of the road by now. If you're coming from the main road, you just look for the gate near the 193 sign. The signage isn't great, but most people find us eventually. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. It’s just regular work, nothing too exciting, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. That’s just how it goes here in this part of town.
