Ascent Law Firm

We are located in the lower ground floor at C-81 in Dayanand Colony. Being in Lajpat Nagar-Iv means there is always a lot happening outside our windows, or at least near the stairs. Ascent Law Firm is tucked away in a spot that stays relatively quiet despite the busy market area nearby. The office has that specific basement smell of old paper and dust, which I guess comes with the territory of keeping records. We have a couple of desks shoved together and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. The light isn't the best down here, so we have to keep the overhead tubes on all day long. It's a bit cramped when more than three people are in at once, but we make it work. Most of our time is spent looking through folders or talking on the phone with various people. We don't have any flashy signs, just a small plate near the entrance. You have to walk down a few steps to get to us. It gets a bit damp when it rains heavy, so we have to be careful about where we put the boxes. People in the colony know where we are if they need to drop something off. It’s just a regular local spot, nothing like those big offices you see in the movies. We just handle the daily tasks as they come in and hope the coffee machine keeps working.
