Arvind Singh & Co

Working out of Chamber No 767 in the Saket Court Complex is always interesting. Being part of Arvind Singh & Co means we spend a lot of time surrounded by stacks of legal papers and the general rush of the Patiala House Courts. If you’ve ever been to the court complex, you know how it is—lawyers rushing around, people looking worried, and a lot of loud talking in the hallways. Our chamber is a bit small, and we’ve definitely squeezed in more books than the shelves can really hold. It’s not a fancy corporate law office with glass walls. It’s more of a place where the printer is always running and there’s always someone looking for a specific file. We spend our mornings at the court and our afternoons back here trying to get the paperwork straight. It can get pretty chaotic, especially when multiple cases are moving at once. We don’t really have a receptionist or a waiting lounge; you just kind of step in and find a chair if there’s one free. We’ve been here at Patiala House for a good while, so we know the layout of the complex by heart. It’s a tiring job sometimes, but we just keep at it day after day. Most of our time is spent reading through documents or heading over to the courtrooms to see what the judge has to say about a case.
