We are based at House Number 23 in Block-A over here in Shakur Pur. It is a busy part of Delhi and we have been in this spot for quite a while now. Arun started this whole thing as a small office because there was a need for some proper help with paperwork and taxes around this neighborhood. If you walk down the main street, you just have to look for the A block sign and turn in near the local shops. The office isn't very big, just a few desks and some old chairs where people sit while we sort out their files. It gets pretty loud outside during the market hours, but we just keep the door closed and get on with the work. My uncle used to say that people in Shakur Pur prefer talking to someone they know face to face rather than calling some big company in a tall building. That is mostly how we operate. We spend a lot of time just drinking tea and going through stacks of folders. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just wait it out. It is not some fancy corporate place with glass walls or anything like that. Just a simple room where we try to get things done for the people who live nearby. We know most of the shopkeepers on this road. It feels more like a community spot than a business sometimes.
