Our office is tucked away at H 11 in Sector 11 over in Noida. It is a standard building, nothing too flashy about it. Arora Rajesh And Company has been here for a bit, and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The Sector 11 area is full of different businesses, so there is always someone walking past or a car horn honking nearby. Inside, it is usually quiet except for the sound of typing or the occasional phone call. We have a lot of files stacked up on the desks and the shelves are pretty full. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise when it has been running too long. Rajesh is usually sitting at his desk dealing with whatever paperwork came in that morning. We get our lunch from a small stall nearby most days because it is easier than packing something. The stairs leading up can be a bit steep if you are carrying boxes. We do not really bother with big meetings or corporate presentations. People just come in, sit down on the plastic chairs, and we talk about what needs to be done. It’s a plain place but it serves its purpose for the work we handle in Uttar Pradesh. The power goes out once in a while, so we just wait for the generator to kick in and then get back to work.
