Army Hospital (R & R)

The Army Hospital (R & R) over in Dhaulakuan is a place most people in this area recognize. It sits near the big intersections, so there is always the sound of traffic in the distance. The building is large and has many different wings. It’s easy to get lost if you don't pay attention to the signs on the walls, which are sometimes a bit hard to read. We spend our time navigating the corridors and making sure things get to where they belong. The lobby is usually packed by eight in the morning. We use a lot of old wooden benches that have been polished smooth by years of use. It isn't a place with a lot of decorations. We have a few clocks on the walls, and half of them are usually a few minutes off. The staff wears comfortable shoes because we spend almost the whole shift on our feet. The water cooler in the hallway is the main meeting spot where we catch up on the news of the day. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t use a lot of big words or fancy talk. If something needs fixing, we call the maintenance guy and wait. It’s just a standard part of life here in Dhaulakuan. We keep things running as best as we can without making much of a fuss about it.
