Varsha Foundation

We are located on the second floor of G-55 in Arjun Nagar. This is right in the Safdarjung Enclave area, which is a nice part of the city. Varsha Foundation has been here for a bit, tucked away above the street. To get to us, you have to climb a couple of flights of stairs that are a bit narrow. The office itself is quite open, with plenty of light coming in during the day. We have a few tables pushed together and some chairs that don't all match. There are boxes of materials stored against one wall because we always seem to have something arriving or leaving. It’s a working space, so it isn't always perfectly tidy. We have a small balcony where some of us go to get a breath of fresh air when things get stuffy inside. Arjun Nagar has a lot of small shops and houses, so it feels like a real community. We know the person who delivers the mail and the lady who cleans the stairs. The fans overhead make a clicking sound that we’ve all just learned to ignore. We don't spend money on expensive carpets or glass partitions. It’s just a place to sit, talk, and get through the daily list of things that need doing. It’s honest work in a humble setting, and we like being part of this neighborhood. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to catch up on. It feels like home to us.
