Our place is at 1952, up on the first floor in Pahar Ganj. You have to find Street Number 9, which is right behind Hotel Holiday. It is a busy part of Chunamandi. If you have been to Pahar Ganj, you know how crowded and loud it gets. Our office is a bit of an escape from that, though it is still pretty noisy outside. We have been in this building for a long time. The stairs are a bit steep and the hallway is narrow, but it works for us. Inside, it is mostly just stacks of papers and some computers. We do a lot of coordination from here. It is not a big corporate space at all. It feels more like a home office that grew a bit too big for a house. We have a tea kettle in the corner that is almost always on. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking on shipments. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who have been together for years. We know the shopkeepers downstairs and the guys who deliver the mail. It is a tight-knit little area even if it seems chaotic to outsiders. We do not have a shiny lobby or a fancy sign out front. You just have to know where to find us. We like the grit of Pahar Ganj.
