Our place is at Asco House in Kirti Nagar. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always something happening outside. We manufacture various medical sundries and supplies. The 'Apothecaries' name is a bit of a mouthful, but most people just know us as Asco. We've been in I-30(A) for years. The floor is usually busy with people making things or packing boxes. It’s not a quiet office environment. There’s the sound of machinery and tape dispensers going all day. We make things that hospitals and pharmacies need, the basic stuff that people often forget about. It’s a practical business. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. It's just the owners and the workers getting things done. Kirti Nagar is a bit dusty, but it's where the work happens. We focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the quality is okay before anything leaves the building. Sometimes we run out of storage space because of all the raw materials. We just find a way to make it fit. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the shelves. We’ve got a good group of people here who know what they’re doing. We don't put on airs. It’s just a manufacturing spot where we work hard and go home at the end of the day. It’s been our life for a long time and we like the routine of it.
