Angelique International Ltd, New Delhi

Even though the name says New Delhi, we are actually located in Khandwa. Our office is at 32, Prakash Vidhyut Nagar. It’s a bit different from the capital, that’s for sure. Khandwa has its own pace and its own way of doing things. Angelique International Ltd has been operating from here for a while, and it’s a quiet enough area to get work done. Prakash Vidhyut Nagar is mostly residential and small businesses. We have a simple setup. There are a few rooms with tables and chairs and plenty of paperwork. We deal with international matters, which feels strange sometimes when you look out the window at the local street life. The work is steady and requires a lot of patience. We have our files and our computers, and we spend a lot of time on emails and coordination. People think it’s all very exciting because of the "International" part of the name, but mostly it’s just hard work and attention to detail. We aren't a big flashy firm with a glass front and a fancy lobby. We are just people in an office. Sometimes it gets hot, and the power goes out, but we just wait it out or use the backup generator. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. It’s just business. We try to stay organized. Being in Khandwa means we know our neighbors and we aren't lost in a giant city. It’s a practical place to work from.
