Navdeep Moulders

Navdeep Moulders is located at Z-5 in Gali No. 4. We are in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area. Ramjas School No. 2 is right nearby, so we hear the school bell and the kids sometimes. It’s a grit and grime kind of place, like most of Anand Parbat. We have been in this spot for years. The machines are old but they still work fine. We spend most of our time on the shop floor. It gets pretty loud when everything is running. There is dust everywhere, no matter how much we sweep. Our office is just a small corner with a desk and a phone. We don't have any fancy air conditioning. In the summer, we just use big fans. The narrow streets of Gali No. 4 can be a struggle for bigger trucks. We’ve had to help guide drivers in more than once. It’s a tight-knit area. We know the guys in the other shops around us. We share tools sometimes. It’s a very practical way of living. We don't spend money on stuff we don't need. The work is hard but it’s what we know. We show up, do the job, and go home. That’s the rhythm of life at Navdeep Moulders. Sometimes we take a break outside just to get a bit of fresh air away from the machines. The street is always busy with people moving things.
