We are located at Plot No-A-103/8 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. Being near Shri Ram Chowk means there is always a lot of movement and people passing by our door. Anand Mechanical Works Pvt. Ltd. is basically a bunch of guys working with machines in a space that’s getting a bit tight for us. The walls are stained with oil and there’s metal dust on almost every surface. We don't have a showroom or a waiting area for guests. If you show up, you’re likely to find us in the middle of a job. Wazirpur is a busy place, and it gets pretty loud with all the other workshops around us too. We usually have the radio playing in the background, but you can barely hear it over the lathes. The concrete floor has cracks in it from moving heavy equipment over the years. We keep our tools on big wooden benches that have been here since the beginning. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s where the work happens. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the whole road, and we have to go out and help them navigate. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we’re still here doing our mechanical work every day. Usually, the boss is in the back checking the inventory while the rest of us are busy with the saws and the grinders. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle and some cups in the corner for breaks.
