You can find us at number 1, Sri Aurobindo Marg, right in the Hauz Khas area. It is a pretty well-known part of the city, and the traffic outside is almost always heavy. Our building stays busy with people coming in to talk about automotive parts and different components we handle. Inside, it feels a bit different from the noisy street outside, though you can still hear the horns honking if the front door stays open too long. We have a small team here that manages the daily tasks. There are piles of catalogs on the desks and sometimes samples of parts sitting around for people to look at. It isn't a very large space, so we have to stay organized or things get messy fast. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day, especially when we are waiting for deliveries to arrive. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just sit by the window until the backup kicks in. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the orders to worry about that. People from all over the neighborhood stop by, and we’ve gotten to know the regulars pretty well. It’s a straightforward operation where we just focus on getting the right parts to the right people. Most of us take the metro or buses because parking around Hauz Khas is such a headache for everyone.
