Our office is located at No. 268 in Shubham Apartment, over in Sector 12, Pocket-4. It is a bit unusual because we are inside an apartment complex rather than a big glass office tower. This makes the environment feel a bit more like a home than a strict workplace. We deal with asset reconstruction, which basically means we spend a lot of time looking at legal papers, bank documents, and financial records. The desks are crowded with folders and those big lever-arch files that everyone in finance seems to have. Because we are in a residential pocket, it’s fairly quiet during the day, aside from the occasional delivery bike or kids playing nearby in the evenings. We have a small kitchen area where we heat up our lunch. The lighting in the back room isn't the best, so we usually have a couple of extra lamps on the desks. We are a small group of people, and we’ve worked together for quite a while. We don't do big presentations or fancy events. Most of the time, it’s just us sitting at our computers or talking on the phone with various banks and lawyers. Sometimes the parking guard at the gate gives visitors a hard time, but we usually sort it out. It is a steady, quiet kind of life here. We just handle the files one by one and try to keep everything in order as the days pass.
