Akshayapatra Equipment Pvt. Ltd. is on the 7th floor of Vishwasadan. That’s in the District Centre of Janakpuri, room 716. If you’ve ever been to the Janakpuri District Centre, you know how busy it gets with all the different offices and shops. Finding a spot in the elevator can be a challenge during the morning rush. Once you get up to the 7th floor, it’s a bit more manageable. We deal with all sorts of industrial equipment. Our office is usually full of manuals and technical specs. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of visitors, but we make it work. The view from the window is mostly other tall buildings and the crowd below. We spend most of our time on the phone or working through spreadsheets. There’s a lot of talk about spare parts and delivery dates. For lunch, we usually head down to the ground floor where there are plenty of small eateries. It’s a typical West Delhi business vibe. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just come in, do the work, and head home. The office has been here for a while, and the furniture is starting to show its age, but it’s comfortable enough. We know the other people on the floor and usually exchange a nod in the hallway. It’s just a regular place for regular work.
