Akshay Heaters

You’ll find Akshay Heaters over at W-14 in Waluj. It’s a pretty standard industrial area. There’s not much in the way of scenery, just a lot of sheds and factories lined up. We’ve been here for a bit, and the routine hasn't changed much. We start the day by checking the machines or the stock. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s where the work is. The building is a bit old and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it serves its purpose. We don’t really bother with making it look pretty. As long as we have space to work, we’re happy. The heat in Waluj can be quite intense, especially during the peak of summer, and being in a metal-roofed building doesn't help. We drink a lot of water and just keep at it. Akshay Heaters is a small operation. We don’t have a bunch of managers or fancy titles. We just do what needs to be done. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit around and wait for it to come back, talking about whatever is in the news. It’s a quiet kind of life in a way, despite the industrial noise. We’re just a bunch of people working in a shed, trying to make a living. It’s not complicated, and we don’t try to make it seem like it is. We just keep working.
