A.K.A MUTUAL BENEFIT NIDHI LIMITED

Our place is over at House Number U-1/40, right on the 40 Feet Road. We are in shed number 40, near plot J-21/1-A. It is a bit of a specific address to find, but once you are on the main road, it is not too hard to spot our entrance. This part of Delhi is pretty industrial and busy, with a lot of trucks and people moving around all day long. We set up here because we wanted to be right where the working people are. Our office is not fancy at all. We have got some sturdy wooden tables and a few metal cabinets for all the files we have to keep. We focus on mutual benefits, which basically just means helping people in the area save and borrow when they really need to. It is a very practical way to handle money for regular folks. We do not have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe an old clock that is always five minutes fast. The sounds of the trucks on 40 Feet Road are always there in the background, but we do not mind it. It feels like we are right in the middle of where things are actually happening. We work hard to make sure everyone’s accounts are handled correctly and honestly. It is a lot of manual entry and double-checking the math. We are just a small team of local people.
